University Of Wolverhampton Shares Best Practice PDF Print E-mail

Two senior officials from the Romanian County of Calarasi spent time this week with key staff from the University of Wolverhampton to understand more about turning strategic objectives into project ideas to assist with the economic, physical and social regeneration of the area, using the support of the European Structural Funds.

Mugurel Paunescu, Advisor to the President of the Calarasi County Council and Sorin Vasilescu, Executive Director in Calarasi County Council, will be in the region for a month in a visit hosted by the Borough of Telford & Wrekin

Technology Corridor bid to be West Midlands’ Capital of Enterprise PDF Print E-mail
The Wolverhampton Telford Technology Corridor (WTTC), an initiative that aims to provide the focus for technology-led economic development in the Wolverhampton and Telford area, is bidding to become the West Midlands’ most enterprising location. WTTC is hoping to emulate the success of Shrewsbury which last year won the West Midlands Capital of Enterprise award and went on to be runner-up in the national Enterprising Britain 2006 competition which is run by the Department for Trade and Industry’s Small Business Service to promote enterprise in the UK.
