New Appointment at Technology Corridor PDF Print E-mail
Kim Gilmour has joined the Wolverhampton Telford Technology Corridor (WTTC) as Marketing and Communications Manager.  Her role will include coordinating the marketing interests of the Corridor, the i54 development site and other major initiatives as well publicising the positive aspects of the Corridor to partners, stakeholders and corporate audiences.

Kim brings with her 20 years of relevant experience from her previous roles with Telford Development Agency and Staffordshire Development Agency where she managed both inward investment and place marketing. Set up to help sustain a competitive future for the region, WTTC’s long term aim is to create and sustain a high value-added, technology-led environment leading to a diverse and dynamic business base.

It is funded by Advantage West Midlands, the Regional Development Agency and led by the University of Wolverhampton. Current projects include the e-Innovation Centre the Polymer Cluster and the Advanced Engineering Cluster Centres; the Institute of Innovation and Enterprise SP/ARK and the IT Futures Centre.  Future projects include the i54 Technology Park near J2 of the M54, which at 96 hectares will be the largest development of its type in the region and, adjacent to J4 of the M54 near Telford, “Lakeside” an area of some 60 hectares.
