"The capabilities and resources within our e-IC team mean that we can provide five days funded advice and consultancy on almost any aspect of IT and how to optimise its use," says Diana. "Our success is demonstrated by the enthusiastic take-up of our services amongst small and medium-sized businesses since our launch in 2006."
Built as part of a £7 million project funded by Advantage West Midlands, the European Regional Development Fund and the University of Wolverhampton, the e-IC's team encourages tenants at the Centre to integrate new ideas and technologies to gain a competitive edge for their businesses. This service is also available, subject to eligibility, to other companies in Shropshire and the West Midlands.
Funded assistance is provided by a team of consultants who can deliver IT solutions in specialisms such as web technologies, IT strategies, smart card development, radio frequency identification and multi-media technologies.
"We're looking forward to helping more companies in the year ahead," says Diana, "and particularly new entrepreneurs who want to develop their business ideas. We believe we can offer them just the right facilities and support.
