The University of Wolverhampton Small Business Law Clinic held a free event for SME’s at the e-Innovation Centre on 10th April 2008. Licensees of the centre were invited to meet local solicitors and post graduate Legal Practice Course students, to receive free specialist legal advice for their business.

Overseas visitors to e-IC
The e-Innovation Centre have been hosts to two recent visits from overseas delegates.
In March 2008, The Dean (Professor Mohd. Salleh Abu) and Head of Department (Assoc.Prof Dr. Baharuddin Aris) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia visited the e-IC to examine the collaboration between the centre and the University of Wolverhampton.

E-INNOVATION CENTRE CLAIMS DOUBLE WIN AT PRESTIGIOUS REGIONAL AWARDS
The e-Innovation Centre has scooped two awards at this year's coveted West Midlands ICT Excellence Awards 2007.
The initiative, which was officially opened at an event in October 2007 to celebrate its success, was named winner of the ICT Excellence in Creative Partnerships category and in the night's only double individual category win, it was also successful as winner of the ICT Excellence in Public Sector ICT Projects category.
Official opening for £7million Business Centre
The £7 million e-Innovation Centre at the University’s Telford Campus was officially opened at a special ceremony to celebrate its success.
The e-IC provides state-of-the-art office accommodation and business support for new and established companies within the Telford and wider West Midlands region.
The outstanding success of the Centre was recognised in an official opening by John Edwards, Chief Executive of Advantage West Midlands. The Centre is funded by Advantage West Midlands, European Regional Development Fund and the University of Wolverhampton.
