EIC tenant, Start Software are supporting micro yachtsman Andrew Bedwell in his bid to break the World Record for the shortest boat to cross the Atlantic.

After the sadly premature end to his 2023 attempt during which his original craft, ‘Big C’, was irreparably damaged, Andrew is back in business. Not to be beaten, he has begun sea trials with a redesigned craft ‘Big C V2’ for a new attempt in May 2026!

He recently visited Start Software at their base in the EIC building, bringing along his new craft for all to inspect.
