Christmas Fun for EIC tenants

EIC tenants were treated to the annual Christmas party on Thursday 6th December.

It was a record breaking year for attendees, with over two hundred guests enjoying a buffet and range of games with prizes for the winners.

There was a ‘Pin the Nose on Rudolf’ competition, a Christmas jumper competition and also a virtual reality game kindly provided by VR Simulation.

There was also the raffle, which this year raised an incredible £304 which will be donated to local charities Stay, Newlife Telford and Age UK Telford.

A big thank you to all those that attended and to the catering team who provided an excellent buffet. Merry Christmas!

Interface NRM’s Himalayan Adventurer

Dr Gavin Jordan, a Lead Auditor at Interface NRM, recently spent four weeks on a mountain climbing expedition to the world’s highest mountain range – the Himalayas. Whilst on this daring adventure he scaled the challenging peak of Ama Dablam.

He said of the challenge: “The mountain appears steep from all sides and appears pretty impenetrable. Luckily this is not the case, and there is a ridgeline that leads to the upper face providing a reasonably straightforward route – although still involving a rock pitch of Hard Very Severe and some quite steep mixed/ice climbing, sometimes involving short sections of vertical ice.”

Well done to Gavin – just another example of the kind of people we have working at the e-Innovation Centre!

Interface are a UKAS and and ASI Accredited Certification Body.
